can i be alittle selfish and keep at least 50% of it!!
I would obviously donate 10% of it to a charity of my choice in my country
Another 10% to give to someone who i really think deserve it
Another 20% to the World Aids organisation
Another 20% to thr Tsunami relief foundation.
i think this would make me a whole better person if i really won and able to do it.

If it was a scratch off and I only won $20 or so, I would keep it all. But, if it was a chance on the millions, and I won that, I would definitely split it 50/50 since the other person made it possible.

I was watching a show tonight about people who had won the
lottery and how it had effected their lives, who they helped etc.
Ironic that you should ask this question. I would have to agree
that it would depend on how much I won. I just gave a $15 tip to a kid who roller skated my raspberry iced tea out to me at the Sonic Drive-In in the cold a few hours ago ( it was Christmas and he looked so cold and working on Christmas?) so I am very giving in deed.
Not wealthy in as far as cash goes but in so many other ways and I like to share when I can. So I'd be generous I'm sure.
Another good one Wick.

i'm not sure exactly how the % would go, but i do know one thing that i would do first. there's woman maybe 45-48 yrs. old that works at a convenience store where i buy gas. we were just talking and she said she had never had a new, "right off the lot vehicle". if i won, the FIRST thing i would do is pick her up and drive her to a dealership and buy a brand new car of her choice and pay for 1 year of insurance. after that.....? i suppose i'd try to find others that had very basic dreams and try to fulfill some of those.

I would thank God and of course I would share with the giver, probably half. Then I would help my brother-in-law's son get his teeth fixed (money problems), help my son with some of his debts, give to my Church, help my sister and her husband with their small debts, and buy a 3-bedroom ranch house that suits me as I age. The rest (after Uncle Sam gets his) will go to my favorite charities. I am pretty generous so I would probably not have the winnings too long. : ) I see so many needs out there. Maybe I'll be like the mystery guy who gave out $100 dollar bills to strangers in dire straits. Good question. Hope you and your sonny son had a great Christmas!

A gift loses ties to the giver and belongs to the givee. No strings, no obligations
I don't know what I'd do in such an instance because I don't accept gifts from anyone, much. But I certainly would give no thought to giving some piece of the giver because he/she gave it.
I'd prefer to give it to someone living under a bridge.

What are you talking about? I bought that ticket yesterday, fair and square. LOL.
I suppose that it would depend on the giver of the ticket. I would give 10% because I would have to absorb the tax payments.

It would depend on how much I won. After taxes!
I might give the giving person something if I won over a million I might give them $10,000.
