Be straightforward. Your parents will be angry for awhile, but they'll step up to the plate and love the child and yes- still love you. I don't know about Trey, but be honest with him and see what he says. That's all you can do. And, GOOD FOR YOU for not wanting to get an abortion. I used to counsel women who have had abortions and it really messes them up emotionally. And abortions could also damage you physically such that you might not be able to conceive again. And that's bad news if you'd like to have kids in the future. See a doctor right away so he/she can tell you what to expect during your pregnancy. Ask him/her about community resources. Be sure to apply for WIC. God bless you! :)

Oh, geez. People SHUT UP about yelling at her not to get an abortion when she's already CLEARLY stated that she's not going to get one!

You both really should have been more responsible and had more common sense. I can't believe you waited this long to tell them and if you've just found out, I can't believe you've only just noticed you're pregnant! You better hope they won't get too mad at you for keeping such a big secret from them for this long because you should have told at the very least your boyfriend as soon as you suspected that you're pregnant. It will be one of the hardest things you're ever going to have to do but you're still going to have to tell your boyfriend first, then your parents together since it's easier to have someone by your side. Do not beat around the bush or they may get the wrong idea and misunderstand you. I hope your boyfriend takes responsibility for it, too. If he doesn't, I don't think your parents would let anything good happen to him. And you might want to try and stop freaking out so much because it might not be that good for the baby. At least you're 17 so it's probably your last year in high school which is better than a lot of the kids that are pregnant. If you have good parents and a good boyfriend, I'm positive you'll get through this just fine.

I don' t think there is any right or wrong way of telling him or your parents.
I think you just have to be mature about it and tell your boyfriend that it takes two to tango and you are both pregnant not just you.
Re your parents - mmm hard to say. Perhaps if you looked at all your options first eg how you are going to support your baby, what you are going to do to bring up the baby the best way you can - if you show your parents that you have taken responsibility for the pregancy then that may help.......I guess all you can do is tell them - sorry i couldnt be more helpful.
Good luck.

Im 17 also i have a 4 month old its good to know that i can relate to you and answer your question right. This is how you tell him you tell him you have to talk to him and when you start talking hand him your pregnacy test.Dont get to freaked out because thats makes you nervice and scared.Thers nothing to be afraid about every thing will be alright, much better than you think and from what i learned, better than what people tell you.Stick in there andYOU BETTER NOT EVEN THINK OF THE THOUGHT AN ABORTION because god has given you your blessing so all you can do now is accept it.!!!!!!!!!!GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with telling your parents first, they will probably will be pretty mad at first but they will come around. As far as Trey goes it don't matter how or when you tell him it's going to scare the hell out of him and he will probably try to run from the situation. If he does and doesn't come back you'll be better without him. ( but don't let him convince you to marry him for the baby it would more than likly end in divorce and more hurt.) Take care and get to a doctor

It means you should have been more responsible and used protection. It means you should tell your parents right now you are pregnant so that you can start receiving prenatal care. It means you need to grow up now. That's what it means.
