Physician's formula is in the drug stores. Buy the yellow undercover concealer for undereye circles, and the green for acne. They both counter the colors in your skin to make them neutral, and then you wear a color over it to match your skin. Cheap and it works.
For foundation, try Clinique: they'll match it to your skin for you, and it's in department stores.

it seems that you and have the same concerns about our face! So, I'll tell you what has worked for me.
To combat an oily face I use Phillip Thomas Roth Mattifying Gel (sephora.com). This stuff is really amazing. I put that on in the morning before putting on my makeup. To blot oil (I usually do so once a day) I use MAC Blot Pressed Powder.
I have serious undereye circles. On days that my undereye circles are puffy, I use this MAC fast response eye cream. It de-puffs my under eye circles. I apply MAC concealer (the one in the pot has the most coverage) with a concealer brush. MAC concealer is AMAZING! Sometimes I also use this brightening concealer by Prescriptives over the MAC. I know its a lot of stuff here, but the most important is the MAC concealer.
I use a bunch of different foundations... I don't really have a favorite, but MAC makes some good ones so does Prescriptives.
Make sure you wash the make up off every night or else it will make skin more oily and greasy. I like Cetaphil as a face wash to remove makeup (sold in your corner drugstore) and sometimes proactive to fight acne.

I'm a senior consultant with Mary Kay. May I recommend, first of all, a cleanser/moisturizer set? Below is the link to the TimeWise products (you would use the oily formula) or the Classic Basic #3 set (oily skin). The reason I mention the whole skin care set is that acne is often due to two things - not exfoliating (opening pores and getting that grime out) and skin that is not hydrated. Skin that is not properly hydrated is more likely to be prone to blemishes and uneven tone, which is why you are looking for a concealer. Foundation should protect your skin, not just lock in more grime as you try and cover blemishes. Do you see what I mean??
Skin care (also see the specific needs for eye issues - I have one customer in particular who has said that the eye revitalizer is the first product she's ever used that made a visible difference) - http://www.marykay.com/skincare/default.aspx
Foundations - http://www.marykay.com/color/foundations/default.aspx
Concealers - http://www.marykay.com/color/concealers/mksignatureconcealer/default.aspx
Brushes (amazing!) - http://www.marykay.com/color/compactsapplicators/compactsapplicators/10011251/default.aspx
Sticking to one brand is a good idea because the products compliment each other and the chemicals work together. I suggest Mary Kay!! I used the product for seven years before becoming a consultant and swear by it!
Feel free to email me with more specific questions or if you are interested in any of these products. We offer 100% satisfaction guarantee, and I can help you with matching colors or set you up with a local consultant. I would be happy to help!! Good luck!

I agree with Trisha on using Mac Cosmetics. I think they have even helped to improve my skin.
But I keep hearing people rave about Sephora. I want to check them out sometime.
As far as brushes, I purchase them online for about 1/5th the price places like MAC sell them for. They have all their products listed on their website, so you can just do a search for cost-friendly brushes.
Is Mary Kay still doing animal testing on their products?

you could change your makeup routine. at night, apply acne creams such as proactive or aveeno(that's what i use.) in the morning, your skin will be really soft and less oily. next, wash your face with neautrogena oil free acne wash(that's what i use.) i personally, don't use makeup caz i don't have any acne, but if you do use it, try cover-girl. all pharmacies carry it and it really, really works. plus, it comes in many different shades so that your skin tone will be even. my mom uses it and her skin looks flawless. when you come home, or at night, when you take it off, use a loreal remover. it usually comes with moisturizer and helps with flakiness or oily skin. good luck!

As for cheap brushes, I know just the thing!

All their brushes are $1, and they work great. I use them myself!
