Now who agrees with me that phoenix should trade their draft pick that they got from atlanta to chicago for joakim noah?
You people might think its a dumb move but trust me if you want to win the championship this year it is the only option you have left because i doubt that their is any big man in this years draft that will play in phoenix's system and i know that since chicago fires their coach that they are vulnerable right now for changes in the organization this is your chance to get a true defensive center that can block shots, rebound, and can run the floor and you need all of that so what i am proposing is this trade right here for the suns to make right now.

1st round pick from atlanta+sean marks+eric piataski to the bulls for joakim noah.
Maybe it will or maybe it wont happen but phoenix needs to do someting if you ask me and in my mind it is the only logical choice they have left i mean they unload some cap space and chicago gets some expiring contracts.

think about it phoenix unloads some cap space and chicago gets some expiring contracts which will be good for them to sign their key players to extensions because i know deep down that phoenix will not win with the team they have now.

they do need a point gaurd as well but they could either draft one or trade their other first round or second round draft pick for one but hey we still have a couple months before the trade deadline passes let just see what happens after all these are a suggestion of what they can do.

I don't think the Bulls would do this trade considering the Hawks are playing pretty well, also the Marks and Pike contracts expire after this season.

If I were the Suns GM I would just hang onto the picks and use them. The pick looks like it will most likely be between 10-20. The Suns should draft one of those two African centers, thabeet or Ibaka, both would be able to run the floor and give Stoudemire help inside, or the Suns could trade up and possibly get Roy Hibbert or Deandre Jordan.

The reason that both Sean Marks and Eric Piatkowski earn roster spots is that they can hit shots when needed.

Hawks sounds a decent trade partner and I am looking on the possibility to land Pachulia or even Childress via trade, and I won't mind to pick up the expiring contract on Lorenzen Wright since he is a proven defender and has good understanding on Western Conference basketball. One thing we should note is that Suns should be reluctant to dispose the 1st round draft pick acquired from Atlanta given their financial constraint, and they are now thinking to dispose one of their better defenders in Diaw (I agree such move especially in a finanical-wise perspective).

Hence, if Suns intends to trade with Hawks, the logical package should be as follows:

Diaw + Banks + Piatkowski + Marks + future 2nd round pick for Speedy (yes we are looking to buy out his contract, and it is a slightly better option given his salary is paid in a regressive way) + Childress + Pachulia + Wright. The keys for attracting Hawks are that they can buy out cheap contracts in Marks (very likely) and Piatkowski (quite likely, though Hawks may want him to stay in period as Josh Smith's private shooting coach) rather than Speedy's, plus they can add another 2nd pick in their pocket and keep the salary budget in a fairly low level, allowing Hawks to be a darkhorse chasing quality free agents in 2008.

For Suns, the loss on Speedy's buyout will definitely be offset by dumping longer contracts on Diaw and Banks, plus they can free up spots to sign veterans like Boykins and Kinsey (is it urgent for Grizzlies to waive him after all?) at minimum and in a pro rata basis.

ima big suns fan
i hope this wasn't a reaction to our loss to the lakers
as our friends in dallas showed us
the regular season means absolutley nothing
the only thing important about the regualr season is playoff seeding
yeah butwe do need to give out that trade
it is losing value fast with the hawks becoming a solid team
but i dont think a rookie is what we need
a point guard would be nice to give steve a breather
theres a guy jose verja in dallas
i watched this guy for a while he can run the point for phoenix
he can use both hands and can see the court great and with a few pointers from 13 he'll be a solid pg
how about the rook from golden state out of UNC
umm whats his name
i forgot 6-10 run the court maybe block shots
with a little luck im sure we can pull through
