I agree (son of adoctor) both are important and coexist
with out knowledge there is no belief. think about it do u believe what everyone says if you have no knowledge of that topic. you might just agree but it;s not really a belief. you will need more knowledge about that certain thing that the person talks about to form a belief. thats my understanding of it

Just as With Love, the more you learn about a person and the more you talk to that person and really come to know them the more you come to love them. (or or Hate Them) but you have to take the time to get to know them to get this answer, for you cannot truly love a person you do not know.

The same is true with your beliefs take the time to gain the knowledge and your beliefs will be reveled. whether strengthened or weakens depending on whether you believe what your learning is the truth or not.

So I Would Say Gaining Knowledge is the most important because it will in effect strengthen your beliefs.

I believe gaining knowledge is more valuable because in gaining knowledge, you are able to learn more about your beliefs and be able to better defend them. In this your beliefs will also be strengthened.

Yeah I see them as hand in hand. As I learn, my belief sets also get stronger. Beliefs are more valuable though because if you had no beliefs you would have no identity really. Without knowledge, you would still have a belief set, granted it may be incorrect.

I think they compliment each other. What is knowledge worth if you don't have any beliefs to support it with. What worth is beliefs if you have no knowledge behind it? What is more valuable? I don't think I could put a price tag on either.

They are of the equal and same value. As you gain knowledge and experince your beliefs will adapt and strengthen, even if they change, because it is linked with learning. Learning about life, who you are, how people are, what to do and what not to do.

At least that's been my conslusion of the matter. Ask me in another decade and we'll see, LOL!

It is knowledge that either strengthens or weakens a belief...... in the ultimate analysis, knowledge is just strong belief...... therefore strengthening belief is the same as gaining knowledge unless one is indulging in blind belief.

that could have plenty to do with the faith. in certainty the pursuit of information is the foundation of a few religions. in case you're touching on Christianity, there have been many reversals albeit reluctant. Unthinkable at one time, it is now known that the Earth revolves around the solar. i think of it is customarily based upon despite the political and social climate is on the time. as an occasion you would be able to desire to extra freely pursue information and humanities in the time of the Renaissance than in the time of the dark a while. even however self portrayed as non secular, religions look to in many situations be very political.
