We hear alot about extreme left or extreme right - does anyone personally classify themselves in either of these groups?

My personal opinion is that personal politics is far to complex for a simple linear polarization, and that almost no one really thinks they are outside the mainstream.

I amprobably someone who is considered extreme right wing. I am pro-life, anti gun control, all for tax relief, I beleive that marriage is defined as one man and one woman, I believe that the free market is always the best way of correcting economic ills, I beleive in a strong military (peace through preparedness). Having said all of that, I really do believe that my views are not that far out of the main stream, I think that a very vocal minority in America has hijacked the main stream media and made people like me out to be uncompassionate monsters. What is so uncompassionate about not wanting to see babies slaughtered in the womb? What is so uncompassionate about wanting to be able to own a gun to protect my family? What is so uncompassionate about wanting people to be able to work hard and be rewarded for their successes without the fear of the government taking their hard earned money from them and giving it to some parasitic member of society who refuses to get a job? What is so uncompassionate about wanting my family to feel safe in their own homes?

I consider myself right wing. But far from extreme, I see the left wing as very extreme. They are quite obviously evil and in league with the father of all lies. They are for all which is immoral and against all that is good. They blindly change the definitions of good and evil. Murdering premature babies is called "freedom to choose". Taxes which slow the economy are taken by force and make more people poor and miserable are called "donations." The list is endless.

you ought to attempt. i opt to propose you talk with John McCain first. i don't be responsive to in case you recognize that the "maximum severe evangelical Christians" are fairly political at this factor. yet like others have mentioned, it relies upon on what you advise by skill of severe. I evaluate the Phelps to be severe. See, i could think of a real libertarian could combat for the unfastened speech of even the main "severe" Christian. looks like that should be upholding the stern shape of the U. S. C. Our rules are sufficient to deal with people who smash them, of any concept.

I consider myself center-left. I do disagree with one point. There are many extremists at both ends of the spectrum that think considerably outside what I would define as the mainstream.

Extreme right = For the rich and corporations exclusively. (R)
[if you are well off and want your business to survive and your profits to soar, become a Republican fanatic.]

Extreme left = For screwing the poor exclusively for the rich. (D)
[if you are making under $92,000 annually they say you need to be a Democrat, but Dems seem to cater to those that make less than $40,000 a year.]

I am a conservative, and will vote for the one on either side that is specifically catering to what I believe government should be doing. Register 'Decline to State' or 'Independent' and vote for whom the bell tolls.

I considered myself middle of the road until I started reading the socialist crap posted by the losers who call themselves "liberals." Liberal is a word for "I'm an uneducated parasite who has to suck the life blood of others to survive." Since then, I've moved far to the right. I want to be as far away from the losers on the left as possible.

Not me. I think of myself as generally moderate.

It really depends on the issue.

I'm just an extreme truth seeker and I'm disappointed at how many people are not aware of Bush and others practices.

Right wing, my way or the highway intolerant jerks. Left wing, pro nanny state. Both very bad. I'm a libertarian.
