From today till March early February , traveling on a budget is not possible from Philippines to country , reason most of our OFW have fully booked flights out of Philippines long before so all remaining seats to Asian County , Americas . Germany , Australia etc are full fare .

After that best place to visit on a budget is Malaysia . To go to Kuala Lumpur from Clark Airbase via Airasia www.airasia.com is 5,000.00pesos Round trip book one month before . For accomodation , go to www.tunehotels.
com and hotel cost will be for one night is 650.00 pesos/night book one month before , you have basic hotel needs for tourists, very good kingkoil bed , hot and cold shower and great shower room , best for money restroom , but no TV and tables or chairs which you really don't need , you need to rest and rest you will . Their location is great for budget traveller , from KL Sentral take the mono rail to Medan Tuangku station 35 pesos fare , walk like 5 minutes and your in corner Jln Abdul Rahman . From there you coudl reach all the great shopping and eating places like Bukit Bintang and Petronas Tower . For a three nights stay in Kuala Lumpur including Genting Leisure trip and waterworld Php 15,000.00 will include a little shopping to Sungei Wang .

I like Thailand the most. It's a land of smile. People are friendly and are always smiling that make you feel warm and safe to travel in the country. Goods and services are chip in tourist spots across the country that you can comfortably manage your budget.

There are a lot of cheap places in south Asia. But if you don't have the money to fly there try looking south. I just did 4 months backpacking through Mexico and Central Amer. I spent less than 2000$ for the whole trip and that was including a one way ticket from Mex. City to NC. It took almost 3 days to get there on a greyhound (which I only recommend if your a traveler not a tourist) but I was just done with the trip so I flew home. If your a travler you can go anywhere cheap I feel thats it better to "backpack" your way around the world you meet real people not hotel staff. Plus tourist spot make it feel like you never left home. You will gain a life time of memories if you do it this way. But its not for everyone....

The Republic of Luneta. Absolutely free. Historical sites everywhere. Dine out with banana cues minimal cost, and it's self-service. Recline to sleep under coconut trees, also absolutely free. I could watch over your things while you sleep, therefore, the security is excellent.

For the Westerners, it's definitely the Philippines! Excellent sights and sounds for the most discriminating tourist on a shoestring budget.

We need not look farther than the home front.

Paradise is here, verdant and pristine in its simplicity, only it should be as far away as possible from the capital, where politicians are as real as trolls, where they milk us taxpayers dry with pork barrel and those supposed investigations in aid of legislation, blah, blah, blah!

Top 2 of my list are always Boracay...and Panglao Beach in Bohol...and ...er... ahh... I mean... oops, sorry. I get sidetracked by my imagination of what beachwear you prefer...or none at all...=D

Happy Holidays!

☻Boracay
If you're living in the Philippines.. it surely is more affordable than going to other country for vacation. Boracay is the Philippines party island.
☻Thailand
an ideal place to go for shopping, and beach bumming.
☻Hongkong
A shopping haven.. well, is way cheaper than London.
