Okay, so at school, we're doing a science fair and we have to come up with a topic by the end of X mas break. It has to be an expiriment, not human testing and at a highschool level. Any ideas?
Thanks

There are some toasters out there that cost $7 and some that cost $300. I would like to know whats so great about $300 toasters. While this seems pretty simple, think about whats involved in making toast, the mechanical elements, the electrical elements, and also you want a visually pleasing toaster for your kitchen - the science and art of aethetics. Now the best part is everyone likes free food, so at your display you can make toast - have jam and peanut butter, etc.

The other thing you can do is grow chili peppers, using various sunlight, watering, then make salsas with them and talk about how climate affects hotness.

Although I dont know if any of this food tasting counts as human testing. Strictly by definition it would.

A really popular topic is the correlation between daphnia and enviornment changes. I would do some research on pond water pollution and past data concerning daphnia population and health.

i dont know if you ever tried this one but do the hot cold paradox, (if you've tried tis msg me and ill whip somthing else up lol) but what this is, is filling up 3 relitvily large bowls up with water. hot in the first warm in the middle and cold in the third put one hand in the hot one hand in the cold and hold them there for one minute. after the one minute take out your hands and put them in the middle one full of warm water and see what happens.
