Perhaps Kirby (I loved that guy-fellow Chicago native; nobody played with more heart than he did- I cried when I heard of his passing last year) , and Harmon is in the 500 plus HR club.
What about Rod Carew? Though he never made it, nobody came closer to batting .400 for a season since Williams. Hey, why isn't Tony Oliva in the Hall of Fame?
Hey played his entire career with the Twins, was hampered with bad knees and still did all this:
8-time All-Star (1964-71)
5-time Top 10 MVP (1964-66, 1970-71)
MLB Rookie of the Year (1964)
The Sporting News' Rookie of the Year (1964)
3-time won batting title (1964-65, 1971)
8-time Top 10 in batting average (1964-71)
5-time led league in hits (1964-66, 1969-70)
4-time led league in doubles (1964, 1967-70)
2-time led league in runs created (1964-65)
Led league in runs, total bases, and extra-base hits (1964)
Led league in sacrifice flies (1965)
Led league in intentional walks (1968)
Led league in slugging percentage (1971)
Led league in hit by pitch (1975)
Gold Glove Award (1966)
Tied MLB rookie record for total bases (374, 1964; shares record with Hal Trosky, Cleveland, 1934)
Only player in MLB history to win batting titles in his first two full seasons
Ranks 55th on MLB Career Intentional Walks List (131)
Holds Twins' single season Total Bases record (374, 1964)
Holds Twins' single season Extra-Base Hits record (84, 1964)
First designated hitter to hit a home run
First Cuban-born player to win a batting title.

The Twins have had some great players over the years. Harmon Killebrew, Tony Oliva, Jim Kaat, Rod Carew, Bert Blyleven, Kent Hrbek, Frank Viola, Kirby Puckett, Torii Hunter, and most recently Johan Santana.
But out of those I'd have to say Kirby Puckett. The guy could do it all, and was great with the fans. He was never the same after Dennis Martinez hit him in the head with that pitch. It was sad to see him leave baseball the way he did.

Kirby Puckett. He was voted the DHL Hometown Hero for the Twins. He has many fans, and they aren't just from Minnesota. It is a shame that he died in 2006. R.I.P. Kirby (1960-2006), I hope that you are still touching it up in heaven. I am a fan of Killebrew as well, and I would have said Killebrew if he could have played a big role in helping the Twins to a Championship. However, you can't go wrong with either one, but I am still saying Kirby Puckett #34.

Well there has been a few really good players to play for the Twins. Kirby Puckett of course would be my favorite. But the also did have Harmon Killebrew and Rod Carew who were both greats and hall of famers as well.

I think most folks would say Kirby Puckett or Harmon Killebrew, from when the team first moved to the Twin Cities.

Killebrew or Carew. I'd take either of them before Puckett, although I'd get to Puck pretty soon after.
Among pitchers, Blyleven, although if Santana stays (ha!) and racks up more "Twins value" he'd probably move past ol' Bert.

Justin Morneau will become the next great,
Killebrew would be the best
and if you want to go best player in franchise history,
then its easy, Walter Johnson, (Washington Senetors became the twins)

Harmon Killebrew, the man played the game with heart and gave his all to the fans and he still helps with charities and other fund raising activities. He does not make money off of his autographs.
