If your fish is still eating, it's most likely a case of a too full of a belly or constipation. If a fish has dropsy, they won't be too interested in food. If you look through the links I posted in your last question, and compare them to your fish, you'll get a good idea of how a fish with dropsy would appear. Just try the pea as I suggested, and skip feeding him for a day or two. They can go for over a week without any food, so a day or two won't hurt him. When you resume feeding, just give about 4 pellets at a meal. It may not seem like a lot to you, but it's enough for your fish.

If it is a girl it is probably from it ready to lay eggs. If it is a boy it is either getting into its finall days=( Or he might have just hit himself on something and the swelling should go down.
