Would you rather be around someone you can’t stand or someone you like but you know you can’t have?

Question

For instance, someone that gets on your nerves OR someone that you know your falling for...but you know you have no chance at all with this person.

What’s your sign? Or what sign do YOU think (in your birth chart, ex: sun, rising, moon, mercury, mars, etc. ) affects this choice?

You can’t choose none or both. You have to choose only ONE. =)

And if you ever dealt with this kind of decision in life, what was the other person's sign?

No... I think some of you are getting the wrong impression of what I'm asking...I'm not talking about relationships... this question DOES relate to something going on in my life, I really don't have to deal with either, and I'm not in a relationship with either person... I just see them often. I just wanted to see what other people think about it. :) That's all...

I mean I'm just around them often, not by my or their choice but of our work schedules. Damn...I didn't really want to get into too much details with this. LOL.

not to sound mean or anything but your answer made me laugh and smile b/c there was a little of it that I can relate to! You definitely understand my question! hahaha. Cuz your in the same or similar situation. Sucks doesn't? Yeah for me, I can't stand to be near someone that I can't stand....lol....b/c I'll just keep talking about that person all day...and keep complaining to someone else that it might get annoying. I would've thought that we would have the same signs or planets but I guess not. haha. I have mercury in Sag and moon in Scorpio with Sun - Scorpio/Sag cusp, and Sag rising. LOL. :P

It seems like a lot of the answers I'm getting is for the second choice, being around someone you like but can't have.

And I know both are "not healthy" but it's not like I can control whether I'm around them or not. I either get scheduled to work with one or the other or both. But a lot of you are right... I really CANNOT stand people that annoy me, it'll get to me so much. :( And with the other person, your right, it's not like he's cheating...we're not doing anything wrong, just talking and maybe a little flirting, just having fun... hell with it... he's very observant so he can probably tell that i might like him just a little. blah. haha. For some reason I don't like to know that they know. LOL.

I'm a Pisces and I'd go for the person that I was falling for because there's always a chance if you put in the effort and if it's meant to be. It's what happened with me and my fiance who I love quite dearly. The "no chance at all" situation is a bit personal but let's just say things just worked in my favor.

I'd honestly choose to be around the person I can't stand rather than someone I really Like, but know I can't have.

Reason being is I can easily ignore anyone I don't like, but when It comes to someone I really like and want, I could Not just leave them alone like that, I'd have to move in and get them ;) It's a tough choice but my like or love for someone, has a greater hold over me then My dislike or hate for someone.
I'm a gemini with scorpio rising, leo moon, gemini mercury, so I'm much more of a lover than a fighter

Well, well, well, let me see... Uhmm... what a tough choice! I can't choose!! It's too tough!! LOL

Ok, let’s talk about love.

If I really had to pick one, I'd pick.. “to be with someone I can't stand”. If that person really gets on my nerves that much, I'd have to ignore him. I know he might be driving me nuts but as far as how much it goes, he can only make me mad. I'll prolly go crazy and be like "Grrrr.." BUT he means nothing to me after all since he's so irritating. I can move on with my life and prolly act like nothing happens or perhaps... try to work out with him. There's always a chance if we really wanna make it work.
I guess, it’s my Capricorn moon that speaks here. I can control my emotion quite well like ignoring him or pretending he doesn't even exists.
My sag sun speaks a little as I'm optimistic and always believe that things may get better! =)

The reason I chose this over “being with someone I like but I can have” is that.. Well, NO way! There's no way I can be with someone I like but I can't have him! It's killing me. I can't ignore my feelings for him just like that. Seeing him everyday and hoping him to be happy but no matter what he's going through, you can't be there for him. He's NOT yours and you know it won't happen. This really sucks. I mean.. This doesn't drive you mad or make you feel irritated or so... but it makes you feel hurt. When I face someone I like yet I can't have, my heart aches. I can't deal with it cuz when I fall in love, I fall hard. I wanna be with that person and there's NO exception. Otherwise, I'd rather move on and get over him. I'd never hold on to something's that is not meant to be. To me, it’s either all or nothing love.

I hate to admit it but in relationships I'm prone to staying with someone that gets on my nerves. In the past I have made very poor choices in mates, and instead of admitting I was wrong I try to "stick it out". The relationship is never worth fighting for, but I think my ego gets in the way. I am a Cancer with a Capricorn moon and Aries rising. I'm not quite sure from where in my natal chart this need to play the martyr role stems, but it's a habit in which I am changing for my future. The other peoples signs were Pisces (a three-year relationship that was VERY bad), Gemini, and Taurus.

I know you were just asking the question for fun and out of curiousity, but just as a word of caution both of the choices provided are really toxic and no one should subject themselves to either. If a relationship isn't working leave it immediately... Life is too short to waste time trying to get someone to love you who doesn't or with an idiot who gets on your nerves!! :)

I would rather have the person that I like but can't have- mostly because of how I feel (about them) - it makes me happy to have someone I care about near, regardless of their availability. I usually just want to get away from people I can't stand.

I am a Cancer. And this has happened in the past- once the (Aquarius) guy was married (happily) and once with my best friend that I was in love with (Aries).

Someone I can't stand.
You can get rid of them and if I was with someone that I like but can't have I wouldn't be able to handle it. I'd probably over-analyze everything, my heart would start to ache, I would get depressed and so on. If it was someone I don't like I wouldn't have to worry as much. Even though they may be annoying or mean, you can get rid of them and you can leave. If you like someone, you have a tendency to want to be around them for as long as humanly possible. :)

i can't imagine being in a situation where i can't have the person at all. sorry but i think i'm irresistable or something.

isn't this a no brainer? sometimes pain is good. it makes you feel alive. being with someone you can't stand is just uninspiring and would annoy the heck out of you and you'll learn nothing from that person.
