Hi i just got a new ds for christmas and i was wondering how far you can be from another person if ur in picto chat...i heard that you can be 2 miles apart..is that true?

two miles? no way.
there are a lot of factors in this. rain and fog would decrease the distance, as well as any obstacles, such as cars, walls, small children, etc..
according to the nintendo site, the signal is about 65 feet

no. you have to start like 30feet away from the person ur talking to and then you can be as far away as up to 100 feet (if you have the DS lite)...if you have the regular original DS then it's like up to 60 feet i believe
no way, 2 miles is too far for pictochat dude

It is just that range, it stinks that it can't like, go all over the world. I like PictoChat, but yeah, on between 60 meters, and if you and the person you are talking to go farther away then that, then you will loose signal to each other. Hope This Helps! =D ♥๒гเttภєא є๓๓ค♥

nope. 2 miles is wayyy too long. my brother and i tested it.. i was at the house and he walked to about 15 houses away, then his connection faded from mine.
