I'm glad that I was able to share the Love of God's Gift. He gave us His Son Jesus Christ born of a Virgin Mary. So that people would not think Christmas is food and candies, presents. Thank the Lord for my family all born again.

The 'thing' I am most grateful for isn't a 'thing' ... it's my husband. He is the most wonderful man in the world, to me, and has made this Christmas very special, and very memorable. Yes, he did get me a very special gift, one I would NEVER have asked for, on the 'cutting edge' of technology ... it's an eReader, and he also bought me four books in a series I love ... I didn't get him nearly as much, but he says he's FINE with that, because he didn't really 'want' anything because I make him so comfortable and happy that I get him what he needs frequently BEFORE he needs it. THAT is 'true love' (I spoil him, he spoils me, we are both perfectly happy with each other and are together forever and beyond) ... and that is the BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER, and one I can enjoy 365/6 days a year.

I read your post and was kinda saddened by the fact that you don't appreciate your blessings.I don' t know where you live but you should consider volunteering some of your time in a homeless shelter, serving food to the less fortunate.Volunteering your time will help you, look at your life from a different perspective, you will learn to be more compassionate to others and not focus your mind on trivial complaints. You are going to college next year, more than likely your Dad is footing the bill. You sound spoiled when You are truly blessed,to eat everyday,to have a cozy home, your utilities are paid for....and here You sit back complaining about $600...if you are so grief- stricken,Black Cat about your Dad' s (so- call) lack of consideration...then you consider paying- it -forward to someone / family that could use the money.

I'm grateful that my family had a good time, even thought I didn't. And that everyone's healthy and happy.

My mom. She was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (a form of cancer) on Dec. 21 2006. It's been a pretty rough year with chemo and a bone marrow transplant, but I am SO GRATEFUL to have been able to spend another year with her.

I'm with you on the family thing. The fact that I got to spend another holiday with everyone and that they are all healthy and happy means the world to me.
