This morning it was fine. But now everytime I watch a video, there's a lot of studdering going on. Why is that? I downloaded "The Movies" game today, which downloaded media player 9 I believe, I'm not sure if it has something to do with this?

Try Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore to roll back your PC to the day before the problems happened.

It's possible. I upgraded my windows media player one time and it slowed a lot down. It may be using too much resources, so you may need to give it time to load since its very much connected to the internet. Also, consider downloading K-Lite Codec Pack (search for it in google), that is an easier to use version of WMP and runs faster and works better. hope this helps. Best wishes.
