Because you have nothing to begin with so obviously you had nothing to satisfy whatever you were seeking.

If you have something then that satisfies something that might satisfy their desire of something.

Nothing would be enough since you have nothing to satisfy a desire for something that make you feel enough of something.

there's no such thing as nothing, there is alway and has to be something, we humans cant perceive nothing and nothing can never be enough because when are humans satisfied
