am I a hippie if i smoke weed everyday because i believe it enhances my spirituality, i am spiritual, my love for music is diverse, i dont believe violence solves anything, I fight for the truth, i believe the world is an amazing place if you allow it to be and i believe to turn people on.. if not to drugs, then to beauty, truth, love, happiness, and fun! I am not a vegetarian, but i believe cruelty for any living creature should be avoided.

I think you might be. You sound like a fun loving person. I myself lived Thur that era . I was not a hippie , but I looked up to their values their outlook of life. But in a nutshell I could not do the communes or the sharing of everything they had even their partners. I was only a young person of 14 or 15 when it was in full swing. I lived my teen years in the 70`s which I loved the 70`s it was good times . I was considered more a pot head then a hippie.But I have outgrown that scene, I got snared by the responsibilities of life.

Well, you don't have to smoke weed to be a hippie, you could just be a stoner who needs to cut back. Do you care about the environment and are you tuned into the universe? Do you seek joy, and positive energy, and universal truths, peace and love for all beings on the planet? Well...if you do, you just might be a hippie.

You're definitely a person. Whether you're a "hippie" depends on your definition of one . . . to some it has a negative connotation; to others a positive one, and today, 40 years after the peak of the "hippies," however you define them, most people don't much care either way! Just be you and quit trying to categorize yourself!

good thinking but i dont understand why you need to smoke weed to thnk and do nice stuff ! i mean if you are doing good and you are happy doing it then get the high with what you are doing and why depend on something to give you a high to do something good. u want to be a hippie - so what makes u think that smoking weed makes u one ? believe in freedom and peace is nothing new.

I don't think so. Why'd you want to label yourself anyways? Just live life in a way that makes you happy. And smoking weed doesn't make you a hippie, two hundred years ago people used to take cocaine like it was aspirin for headaches!

First and for most stay away from the weed, it will just make trubs for ya and reck your life to boot.. Look for music from bands like, Cream, the Beatles, The Byrds, T-rex, just to name a few.. Do some ti-dying, Head bands, just to give you some help, The summer of love!! Have fun with this.. But please stay away from the drugs..

No I do not agree. Hippies will not take bath for months together, rather they clean their teeth. They never change their dresses for any reason. They live with anybody and they do not require any shelter. So, you are not HIPPIE.Yours, vrvrao
