I need an anime to watch...?

Question

I just finished Great Teacher Onizuka and absolutely LOVED it. I wanna watch another one like that. Here's some qualities I'd like to see:
comedy
gotta be realistic
lovable characters( gotta be a guy<3)

some of my favorite animes are:
trigun
Full Metal Panic
one piece
GTO (obviously....)
ect...

please no fantasy or anything like that cause I'm not really into that stuff. I would really love for something about school...and I'm not much of a romance person, I really love comedy though but, beggars can't be choosers so...

Oh and by the way, if you wan to get best answer, put a summary of the anime you're suggesting. or the jist of the plot at least. thankies!!! <3

gokusen- yakuza leader, kumiko, becomes a math teacher to the most delinquent school in japan! (comedy/fighting/school life/yazkuza)-- its a good anime!

green green- and all boys school and an all girls school share campus and schooling together while they try out a 4 week trial to see if they can "coexist" properly. its a good anime!! though, the guys are soo crazy and strange~ lol!!! so funny =]

best student council- ah... how can i describe this anime? well, its a comedy about school life... and mainly focuses on the ffamous best student council. hilarious! but this isnt just the average student council............ i mean... they have missiles for crissake!! but what are they going to use them for... hm... lol!!
also another great anime ^^

hana yori dango- this is a romance (its not mushy though) anime, but he overall story line is wonderful. at eitoku high there lives the F4, a group of extremely hot and incredibly rich guys, who not only control the school... but everywhere else around them. if you get a "red slip" from them.... the whole school turns against you! not just the students.... but the teachers too! well, along comes a very head strong girl named tsukushi makino.... who decides to take on the F4.
well, what happens with the leader of the F4 falls in love with her but she falls in love with the groups most antisocial player? let me just say.... they do alot more than tie her up to a car and drive her around town (yes they do that D=)
its a funny anime, and it isnt heavy at all. tsukushi is a fighter girl who never backs down and will always put up her fist against anyone... and thats exactly the reason why the leader fell for her.
it doesnt really get all romancey until the very end ^^ i like the manga better... but the anime is also very good!!!

School Rumble!
Tsukamoto Tenma is a second grader in high school who, like other girls her age, falls in love. Though she can't bring herself to confess, she finds out Karasumaru (her crush) will transfer the following year! With the help of her friends and little sister, she tries to confess her love. On the other hand, Harima Kenji, a delinquent, has feelings for Tenma. This love triangle takes on most of the light atmosphere in the anime.

I would have to suggest Rurouni Kenshin. It is pretty good and has what i think of as loveable characters, and a moderatly reasonable plot. Basically Kenshin Himura was a killer for the government in the old era of japan known as Hitokiri Batosai, or Batosai the manslayer in english. He vows never to kill again and uses his blade for protecting people(its a reverse blade sword.) And is origionally a wanderer but setles down to protect a young woman Kauru at her sword training place(Dojo.) If you havent watched it you have probably heard of it, its worth a checking out.

Ouran High School Host Club.

It's a really good show and its mostly realistic. I dont remember anything about fantasy in it. and its about a host club made up of about 5 guys but then a girl comes in looking like a guy.....and its really funny you gotta see it.

I really want to help you but I can't think of any anime. I suggest that you go to anime6.com then look at their list. They have awesome collection of animes that you can watch there but if you don't want to watch online, just skim through their list then you might get some ideas. They also offer summaries there once you had clicked the anime you want.

i would recomend maison ikoku. you can watch it on you tube if you want. this anime is about a guy who lives in an apartment with a bunch of other annoying people(a drunken bulgar mother, a drunken girl who always wears little clothes but gets mad at him for beeing a perv, and a guy who made a hole between their apartments to have axcess to his private stuff). he has a very fustrating life going to school and having to deal with his neighbors and all the other people who looks at him as a looser until the new manager moves in. she is a very pretty, mature, and a widow girl who wants to forget her husband's death. he ends up falling in love with her but throughout the story, the guy's neighbors make it impossible for anything to happen. the neat part about this anime is that its funny and a lot of years go on troughout the story so you get to see how he grows up from beeing very immature, childish, high school boy to a very disciplined, mature, professional person. I highly recoment it and hope you enjoy it.

Looking for a quiet place to study, Haruhi stumbles upon the Third Music Room, the working place of the Ouran Host Club, a group of six attractive male students (Takashi "Mori", Mitsukuni "Hunny", Kaoru and Hikaru, Tamaki, and Kyoya) who spend their time charming and entertaining the school's girls for profit. During their first meeting, Haruhi accidentally knocks over a vase valued at ¥8,000,000, estimated to be $80,000.

In order to pay off the large debt, Haruhi is employed as the club's "dog" and constantly ordered to do menial tasks like serving food or cleaning up. The Club president, without knowing she is really a girl, promotes Haruhi to "host" as soon as he discovers her potential. Even after the truth comes out in the Club, Haruhi continues the charade and is allowed to pay off the rest of her debt working as a host; provided she conceals her true identity/gender from the customers.

=I'm sure that you'll laugh and laugh at this series but I'm not sure how realistic this series can be in how filthy rich people can be!
Last but not the least, THERE ARE A LOT OF GUYS IN THIS SERIES!
Although it is kind of a romantic comedy, forgive me in that. xD!

Light Yagami is an extremely intelligent young man who resents the crime and corruption in the world. His life undergoes a drastic change in the year 2003, when he discovers a mysterious notebook, known as the "Death Note", lying on the ground. The Death Note's instructions claim that if a human's name is written within it, that person shall die. Light is initially skeptical of the Death Note's authenticity, believing it is just a prank. However, after experimenting with it and killing two criminals, Light is forced to admit that the Death Note is real. After meeting with the previous owner of the Death Note, a shinigami named Ryuk, Light seeks to become "the God of the new world" by passing his judgment on criminals.

Soon, the number of inexplicable deaths of reported criminals catches the attention of the International Police Organization and a mysterious detective known only as "L". L quickly learns that the serial killer, dubbed by the public as "Kira" (derived from the Japanese pronunciation of the word "Killer"), is located in Japan. L also concludes that Kira can kill people without laying a finger on them. Light realizes that L will be his greatest nemesis, and a game of psychological cat and mouse between the two begins.

but I suggest that you watch the series first for the comedy to be effective.

BTW, I think you'll also love the guys in the series. xD!
The psychology and events are realistic but the Shinigami isn't. xD!

And Trigun is the greatest anime of all time.

about 2 witches who are compeating against each other to be the queen of the magical world and they have to go to the human world to collect hearts. i know its not what you "like" but i think its really good and worth looking at. also that site has LOADS of anime episodes....best site i think =)

two animes that I really enjoy are Nauto and Bleach. Naruto is mainly about ninja and can be funny sometimes. Bleach is about souls and thing like that. Both are very good animes.
