The latest will was written before the marriage. It gave everything to the ex. Will it deprive the current spouse of inheritance? Couple live in Oregon but will was written in California.

Yes it will deprive the current spouse of any inheritance. A new will needs to be written and all insurance policies should be checked to make sure the current spouse is listed and not the ex

Unless the will is changed over the ex will get what is left because thats what the will says. The current wife, the true widow could fight for the assects and MAY be granted them if the court finds it in her favor but most of the time thats a waste of time unless you have alot of money.

If the person doesn't want everything to go to his or her ex, i guess they need to change their Will... Wills can be revised as many times as we like during the course of a lifetime.

It doesnt matter where it was written....the last Will is the legal one. If the person hasnt died yet, then I strongly suggest he/she changes the Will. If he/she has died, then the Will will need to be contested. The people involved, if the person has died, needs to seek out legal help a.s.a.p.
