Long ago, I chatted in a chatroom but it was a local chat room, only people from my area.
I can say, most were totally normal, some in the room, I already knew in "real" life and others I meet threw other friends/family--a few we still ahng out with, we have bbq's at each others houses,ect.
That room also had local parties where pepole could go and meet and hang out--I never went to one of those tho.
Lets just say everyone knew everyone and if you didn't know someone, someone you knew, knew them--it was like a big family with good and bad but mostly good.
That room closed tho and I haven't chatted in a chatroom since and the only way I would,if it was a chatroom for my local area.

Whats normal? I heard 5.5 to 6 inches. Just kidding. Yeah, not too many. I like walking, breathing people in front of me. But you never know. You can find anything if you look for it. I used to go on chatrooms about 5, 6 years ago. But I dont like the dynamics. I like live people who put themselves out there instead of always hiding in anonymity. But I guess chat rooms can have their place too. up to you. Good luck!

I stay away from chatrooms, personally. I think the great majority of people who connect on the web are people who have some kind of social problem that prevents them from being outgoing enough to connect with others in other face to face venues.

There are a lot of normal people who act like freaks because they are in a chatroom and not face to face.

People tend to take the anonymity of the computer and use it to let it all hang out so to speak. That is why people seem so weird in chat rooms. They are really what you might call normal if you met them in person.

I believe that you should always be careful when you go there. I don't ever go there I like it here because it seems to be one of the safest places

Depends what kind you go to the ones i have found safe are Christian or religious based some of them can be really bad be careful you'd be suprised what goes on in some

I was wondering the same thing, Usually I picture everyone as a fat hobbo and dont say anything which i wouldnt say to a hobbo.
