If the government really wanted you they can find you, unless you get everying from your pay to purchases in cash.

They will just get a court order and have the dot com hand over all records of your transactions. This is assuming of course they have a need (such as criminal activity) to get your information

Do you need to be turned in??

Depends on how you paid for it.

Depends on whether the government subpoenas the records of the seller.

Depends on whether you used a government computer (say, from a library or if you work in a governmet office).

Trying to get out of paying state sales tax? Or are you buying contraband? In either case, I would advise against it unless you have access to a third-party site that guarantees privacy and offers to relay your messages through an untraceable server chain.

absolutely. don't know what you're purchasing but keep in mind that government agencies often have dummy sights "selling" stuff....u buy....and u really pay.

as far as generally speaking....the gov really doesn't have time to really check every citizen's online purchases....but you never know.....people have been questioned based on things posted on blogs in the darkest corners of cyberspace...

If you have to ask this type of question, then you must be doing something wrong, yes they are watching you
