somebody's got to do it.

David T - the Democrats don't really want out of Iraq. If they did, we WOULD be out. They are military-industrial complex shills just like the Republicans.

That is not even what I was thinking of when I was considering arresting Bush Jr. I was thinking that somebody needs to put a stop to the international crime syndicate, and if nobody else will, I will do whatever I can. It would be a pretty big statement for a person to walk up to GWB with handcuffs and the intention of arresting him, for selling our country out to the highest bidder. This is more than just a disagreement over policies, this is treason on his part, along with all of the other establishment republicans and democrats. They are attempting to eradicate the USA and create EU-style North American Union.

To answer your question;

You can try it, but I don't think the secret service will let you.

Yes...and it would last all of about one second. After performing a citizens' arrest, you are obligated to turn the arrestee over to the nearest law enforcement official. Guess what? The Executive Branch is the law enforcement branch of government...and The President is th Chief Executive Officer in the land. As such, The President is the Top COp...the highest law enfocement officer. If you arrest The President, then The President will be the nearest law enforcement officer...so you will have to turn the arrested President over to himself. One you turn the arrested President over to The President, he can instantly admit his guilt, and give himself a Presidential Pardon...so what woud be the point of arresting him in the first place?

No ; But since you are in a patriotic mood and want to arrest someone that is really a danger to our country : why don`t you go down to the Mexican border and assist the border patrol arresting ILLEGALS ? There you can do as many patriotic " NON CITIZENS " arrest as you can keep up with !!

No, it is not possible to do a citizens arrest on the president. You must be close enough to the person to say that you are doing a citizens arrest. You will never get that close to the president without getting shot or killed.

Ok, here's what I say to all these clueless people who can't go without their Bush-bashing: If you were placed in that oval office right now, right this minute, as president of the United States, do you think you could do a better job? (be honest here, people)

PS - David T: Great answer!! well said!

Good luck with that! Try getting past the secret service. And your citizens arrest is because you don't like the way he is handling Iraq War, or our countries problems? Don't make me laugh!

Sure, but arresting the president of the US because you are confused by media rumblings, conspiracy theories, believe the lie that he 'stole' elections and don't understand his policies probably wouldn't hold up in court.

In fact, you'd probably look like quite the fool.....

Go ahead.... I'll hide and watch.

Why does someone have to do it? Because you don't agree? I'll give it to you gently. The majority of people in this country don't give a crap about your personal opinion nor do they share it. If stupidity was a crime, we could arrest liberals en masse.

If you could get close enough before the Secret Service stomp your **** into powder, then yes you could do it, just before the entire nation laughed at you as CNN, FOX went live to the scene to make a mockery of you for doing something so absolutely ignorant!! I say go for it!!

Only if you want to be arrested for treason. As long as we are at war it is a bad idea to try and arrest the president besides there is a proper process to follow to impeach and remove the president from office. Passion is wonderful as long as it is not misplaced.
