Just looking for an "in the ballpark" answer here on the high and low end. I have a 97 Taurus with 160k on it and it is leaking antifreeze. What is a reasonable estimate on my cost. I realize it could be a hose, or it could be the radiator...but have no clue on the cost to repair that. Thanks!!!

If it is a hose you might be looking at about $50.00 at the high end.
Now here is something I want to tell you about that might just save you a bunch of money.
goto you local automotive parts supply house and ask for a bottle of "BARS LEAK". use the "Bars Leak" as the directions say. This product will seal up small to fairly larger small holes in the radiator, block, and engine components that are in the cooling system.
Now for the cost of a radiator, that could from you from $45.00 at a parts yard to $200.00 for a new one.
If it is your water pump that might run from $35.00 to $75.00
But try the Bars Leak. As I said, it could save you some money.

I say around $150 to $200 for a new radiator. That's what mine cost anyway.

If it's a hose, maybe 20-30 bucks. If it's a new radiator maybe 250. Just guessing.

Autozone.com lists your radiator around 190 bucks. A radiator hose is about 30 bucks. These are relatively easy to install. If you take it to a shop you could easily double these prices.

"BARS LEAK" haha are you kidding me? plug the leak yeah maybe. clog up your whole cooling system...id say. your radiator and engine needs those little passages for cooling. why would you want to clog them up? fix the problem. don't just put a band aid over it. you don't have to be good with cars to figure the problem with that stuff.
