Have you thought about Internet Marketing.
There are many stay at home moms working in the IM industry, you just have to be careful who you listen to and what you spend your money on as there are a lot of unscrupulous people out there waiting to take your money.
The first and most important step is to learn about your industry, how to market products etc.
By far the most genuine learning resource I have ever come across is provided by two college graduates who went from broke to making over a million dollars a year.
You are probably in a great position as a stay at home mom as you can learn about your business while putting it into practice and making money.

The only sure ways of making money, if you make any at all, are selling Avon products, selling on eBay, answering phones for other Small business people, and baby sitting. The Small business companies have generally only one or two persons working. When they are at work they need someone to answer the phone and take a message. They will pay you good for that if you can answer thee phones intelligently. An example is a plumber. There may be similar one or two more. Everything else (at least 99.8% of them) including the two above answers are scams. They are designed to rip you off of your hard-earned money. Most of the ideas for making money require you to leave your home.

Well if you have alot of time. You can get into the whole pay per click advertising thing. Do your Homework first. I strongly suggest that. Or get into buying domain names and selling them for profit. Research a guy called Kevin Ham and if at all inspired buy your domains from newheightsdomains.com Then in like a month depending on how good your domain is you could auction it on ebay and make money. I lost a bid to a name which was deluxebargains.com because I went to sleep. Imagine the products I could have sold on there and then the traffic I could have come to that site because it is a catchy name and I lost it.

The main problem of almost every trader is the thoughts that trading is game or it's easy money. Before profitable trading you should learn a lot about this field. So, even don't try to trade with real money.

There is something called a "virtual assistant" where you can assist someone else. A lot of professional speakers use them. There's an association called the International Virtual Assistancts Association" www.ivaa.org. Check them out. You can also call nonprofit organizations and ask if they need someone to do scheduling: like you can schedule volunteers to come in, or you can schedule meetings between the executive director and the top donors. Or you can schedule appointments for salespeople: it's hard, but they'll train you how to do it.

Take care of a few children at your home - you can charge a full time rate or a drop off rate. It's a great way to make extra money!!!

Get rid of your old stuff or start buying cheap, quality stuff from a thrift store and start listing stuff on ebay. Make some money off of the stuff you don't want anymore. It's fun!
