I don't know a single guy who likes them, so I can't answer your question. Why would you want to create another portal for germs to enter your body? I think girls who have them lack substance on the inside, so they seek attention outside, on their bodies. Sad.........

Every guys has 3-4 points he checks out. They are ordered, they are constant from girl to girl, and if you press they them will tell you the list. We don't know WHY, but we all have a list. Typical favorites are:
(Bright) Eyes
Butt
Breasts
Midriff
Legs
Smile
And less commonly:
Collar bones
Chest (the skin, even without cleavage)
Shoulders
Cheekbones
Chin
Basically, if you have your belly button pierced it's a shiny toy on your midriff. Any guy with "midriff" on his list will have a target (and and invitation) at which to stare. If you have the body to show the jewelry, the guys without "midriff" on their list will like something else and none of them will complain.

If the the tummy is tight it looks good. In the deeper since The belly button is the source of life and well defined belly button decorated just right says I got a good life. That is just my thoughts

I'm guessing they like it because of what it says about the girl. There is a perception that a girl with a pierced belly button is a bit on the wild side.

I for one think it makes a girl look cheap. Sleazy, an easy pick up.
They are starved for attention and trying to make some kind of goth statement. I feel the same way about girls getting their noze pierced.

Not sure. My boyfriend loves them too. I have one but I am in no way trashy. In fact he is pretty much the only one who ever gets to see it unless I'm at the beach. I don't believe I "lack substance" in any way but that is merely my opinion. I think it's cute. :)

the mid-drift and belly button are very sexy parts of a girl. It draws attention to this area. They aren't attractive if the girls stomach isn't attractive.

As for why? Maybe they like the way it looks, I really don't know. Possibly ask the guys who like it that you've talked to?
