I have viruses on my laptop which is causing a lot of problems with my computer. are there any free programs that I can use to completely remove all the viruses? or is there any way that i can completely factory restore my laptop without any recovery disks, because we never got any disks with the computer when we bought it.
(our computer is a toshiba)

download AVG and run that.
download Spybot Search and Destroy and run that

Laptops are vulnerable on threats created by Viruses and Spywares.
You really need an Antivirus.
Use Norton

I would use 2 anti viruses and then run a spyware scan as my computer got a couple of viruses but it was spyware that did the most damage.

install an untivirus software like NORTON, McAfee, Kaspersky and lots of them. AVG and Avast are antivirus for free.
you can download them on this sites:
AVG - www.grisoft.com
AVAST - www.avast.com
if you can't get rid of those viruses, reformat your harddrive.

go to download.com and down avg,that's a free virus program,if you didn't get recovery disks,you should have it already installed on your computer
