Starbusts have gelatin, which is also present in Skittles, Jell-o, and most jelly beans. Gelatin is a product made from boiled animals bones and tendons. If you really crave sweets, you can try some Jelly Belly jellybeans, since those are, like, the only jellybeans that don't have gelatin. You can try some fruit snacks, but it's up to you to look out for gelatin. edit: Sorry, Jelly Belly jellybeans have beeswax. I'm not sure if that would constitute as animal harm, but it is an animal derived product. Stick to fruits, then. I find that grapes are a real good sweet treat if you get the green seedless ones.
