My little sister that is twelve and her name is Sarah she has a friend that is also twelve years old her name is Cassandra. Anyways Cassandra has been spending Christmas with us. So anyways there was a knock on the door and I answered it was Cassandra's dad and he just went passed me and grabbed Cassandra by the hair and was like dragging her out. She was screaming in pain. At this time my boyfriend saw this and like sneaked up on him and punched him straight in the face. Cassandras dad fell. So I tried to help Cassandra up and it was the first time I noticed she had bruises and cuts on her arm. (She was wearing long sleaved but it got ripped on a hook on the way out.) I immediately called the cops while my boyfriend ran inside with Cassandra and locked the door. Anyways we were all trying to help Cassandra because she was bleeding a bit and the cops came took her dad away she doesn't have a mom. So shes staying with me for a while until things get sorted. So what now?

thats terrible! but you did the right thing! I may not be your mom or bff but i am so proud of you for sticking up for her, your bf is a hero :) you and your family are wonderfull people for letting her stay with you, treat her normally, if she needs to talk listen, but dont pressure her if she cries let her. take it slo.

Good Job. You did a really great thing. Make sure that her dad doesn't get out of custody and find her. Call up her relatives, see if she can stay with them. But for right now, I think she's really glad to be staying with people that love and care about her.
Just keep her safe for now. Go to her home so she can get her things and just really treat her like you'd treat your sister {maybe even better..} Your sister may get jealous, but explain to her that Cassandra has has a really hard life. Again, call up some of her family members and ask them what you should do. If they don't want her, then you keep her and have her live with you.
You did a really good thing and Cassandra is probably really glad you did it. This is probably her best Christmas to date. =)

Wow, your boyfriend is kinda heroic.
Now, the dad is gonna file for a suing, so I propose for him to get a good lawyer although that won't be necessary.
For the girl, ask her what did her dad do to her. Does she like her dad, when did it start, etc etc... Let her say with you and spread the Christmas joy around until child services know what to do. The last thing ever to do is to make her sad. It's Christmas for goodness sake.
For the evil dad, hire a good lawyer on behalf of your boyfriend (incase of suing) and the girl (for her safety). Defend yourself and speak of the truth.

Looks like Cassandra has been going through Child abuse. your boyfriend did the right thing (I would have done the same!) Her father can go to prison for that.

You handled that situation very well and that was very brave of your bf. Now you comfort Cassandra and wait for notification from the police.

You and your boyfriend did the right thing... that little girl doesn't deserve to be abused.
I'm sure the police will contact you or call social services? I hope she gets a decent life away from her dad...
this type story scares me to death... i was abused and i know the emotional pain it causes... and scars..
hugs to that little girl... i wish i could help

I think you did the right thing.
I'd call around, looking for better family members for her to stay with. In the meantime, let her stay with ya'll.

you handled the situation very well, i think and it would pobably be best to not bring up the situation. just make shure she feels loved, and if she wants to talk to you about it then she will.
good luck and merry christmas
