It all depends on power requirements (In real world requirements)

or in this case

V= IR= 2.5 x 3= 7.5 V

Typical = 7.5 volts for after start run. you'll have the starting voltage and inrush current to get the engine and load to move. it's the same for all of them. recall that the real engines do spin there wheels for a few seconds to over come that dead start.
