My boyfriend and I just had sex a while ago... We are trying to conceive.... I laid down for just a few minutes with my legs elevated when we were done and some of his semen came back out after we were done... My last period ended almost 2 weeks ago...

I do not need your comments about how YOU think we should be married... YOU do not know me and my boyfriend or how we live our lives... Please stick to the topic and don't put your 2 cents in about something YOU know nothing about... Thank you.

Some semen spills out normally, but not all of it.

There is no way to know until you wait for the day you're period is due. if it doesn't arrive on time, feel free to take a test.

There's an estimated 20% chance each month for a woman to become pregnant if she and her partner is healthy. Since he ejaculated inside of you, some of his semen will still remain and therefore still leave a chance of pregnancy.

Don't forget to check out sites such as fertilityfriend.com to learn more about knowing the signs of your body which indicate the days you are most fertile. There's a 3-5 day window that gives you the best chance of getting pregnant, just make sure you make the most of that time!

It depends on whether you've already ovulated, whether you ovulate within the next 4 days or so. Sperm can live for up to 5 days in fertile cervical mucus (which you have leading up to ovulation). Once you've ovulated your egg will only live for 12-24 hours if not fertilized. If you have timed everything right, there is a 20-25% chance each cycle.

If you're ttc, I suggest charting your cycles. See the link I left below. Good luck!

there is a good chance you could be but you need to wait till your next period to see if you start or not. I think it best to be at least a week late before taking a pregnancy test. try that until then its just a waiting game

it all depends upon your ovulation date. not everyone releases an egg every 14 days; some are earlier and some are later. it also depends on your boyfriend's sperm. if he ejaculated longer than 48 hours ago, his sperm might be less optimal, as sperm start to die at 72 hours. there is a lot of information out there. all the best

Why not get married too ! If you are going to want a child and it would be better to show your responsibility to each other by marriage. You will have a bonding family unit that shows that you are committed. Marriage is not just a piece of paper it is a vow by you and your partner that you will share your lives together. It is the best start a child could have in a loving couple relationship.
Surely if you and your boyfriend want the responsibility of a child you could also do the responsible thing as marrying.

I know the world has become incensed and now anything goes but if you two really love each other than the decision of marriage is not a difficult one. I do not expect this answer to be popular with this God alienated system of things but it is right regardless.
