specific, you stated all of it alright. I comprehend, too, that the lads were ingesting and smoking marijuana. i ponder whether their habit could have been so reckless if that they were sane and sober. I continuously believed that the tiger were taunted - way till now the lads had confessed to it. It grow to be the only component that made experience. what's truthfully so unhappy, although, is that the outcomes for this habit have been so deadly - for the tiger and the boy. i ponder whether there is something to be found out by applying this tragic incident, different than, do no longer tease a tiger!

It makes me ill to think of it.
Yes, it's extremely unfortunate that a human being was killed; I'm sure the zoo will be facing an enormous lawsuit. But WHY destroy the tiger for doing what tigers are supposed to do---hunt and kill?
That's what happens when one takes a magnificent predatory animal out of the wild, where it belongs, and puts it on exhibit for the "benefit" of human beings. It should be outlawed.
As a Native American whose totem is the Cougar, I strongly identify with big cats and this whole incident made me very, very angry.

the fault does not lie with the tiger. it lies with the zoo people who handled the tiger -- they failed to lock his cage.
handling a very large carnivore like tiger requires way too much responsibility and caution. How then can they forget to make sure tiger is secured inside its enclosure? its pure carelessness.
Also the tiger may not have killed the man out of anger, hunger or hate. He was just too overwhelmed at seeing the terrified reactions of the humans and may have thought himself to be endangered and decided to get defensive.
Tiger can be forgiven, but not the zoo.

Definately poor tiger. Zoos and circuses should be outlawed. No matter how good people say they are treated, it is a lie. Would you rather die free tomorrow or live in jail the rest of your life? As far as shooting it goes, I don't think any animal that has been caged by man should be killed with a weapon. If your going to kill one, do it unarmed to make fair because man is the one who moves them from their enviornment. And, just for record I'm a staunch conservative. I eat tree hugging liberals for breakfast. Now if your want to put something in a cage....................................

Poor tiger. He/she obviously had enough of living in captivity. Too bad their natural habitat is being taken over by people. Did they have to kill it? Couldn't they have used a tranquilizer dart?
