Why not?? Beats a child molester, murderer or a leach.

If I was interested. But I would be upfront in telling them that it is one aspect I would like to work on changing because a) If I like them enough I want them to live awhile and b) all the things that go with smoking are not overly appealing.
But mayonaise??? I don't think so! (j/k :)

Yes, up until recently the guys I've dated have been smokers, but I smoke so it's never been a big deal. However, my current boyfriend doesn't smoke, he's been trying to get me to quit. I really like this guy, so I think I'm going to actually make an effort.

Everyone says no. That's the PC answer. My first wife told her aunt a week before we started sleeping together that she'd never date a smoker. If people really would refuse love for such a shallow reason, then they don't deserve the love. When it hits, you never can tell who it will be. Never thought I'd marry an Asian, either. Go figure.

I would have in the past, but not know. In the past few years so much has came out about second hand smoke that I feel that my personal health is more important than a possible date.

Not an all time smoker no, definitely not, I'd kill myself, literally, second hand smoke no way. But if they smoke every once in a while, not like 5 times a week, then I'm fine. (:

Yeah, I'd give it a shot. But I wouldnt marry her, because if she doesn't want to quit smoking, she's making a decision to die sooner. A completely selfish choice.

Nope. I don't want the second-hand smoke OR the cancer, emphysema, or stinky clothes, hair, and upholstery that come with it.

Sure I would. The only girl I was ever involved with smoked, and she was untrustworthy, but I don't think it was because she is a smoker.
