Not really 100%. I have found some misinformation so as a result, I have a problem trusting it at all. My opinion only. Interesting site tho.

No, not all of it is fake. If people put false information on there, they will get banned from the site to come on ever again and get in big trouble.

So, yes, actually I do. I have done numerous school projects using Wikipedia (even the teachers tell me to do research on that site) and also whenever I want a quick bit of info on really anything, I go to Wikipedia.

Wikipedia is an excellent starting point for research but certainly shouldn't be your sole source of information. Look up anything you find in Wikipedia on Google to verify that it is accurate information. (For the most part, however, false information is quickly removed from Wikipedia.)

No, not really.

If I were writing a paper for school, I would not use Wikipedia as a source.

I would not use it as a source for Yahoo Answers....

I do use it for general information and check any data that must be accurate.

Yes. It's good for quick, accurate info, but like anything else online it can be compromised. At least they take efforts to stop inaccurate info and record IP addresses to prevent the people from corrupting again.

Nope. My teachers always tell me to avoid that website when doing research.
However, I do look at the website when I'm curious about a celebrity or a T.V. show because it's not that serious.

It's great to look up basic info but I wouldn't quote it in a research paper. Most of it is accurate.
