I really like that name. I just thought now though...realistically no one is going to say the full name. In school people will just call him Mark as opposed to Mark Tristan. If you like Mark just as well without saying the middle name right after it, than its great. If not, maybe promote Tristan to the first name, or get a more unique first name. Some ideas (lol) :
Tristan Allen
Tristan Lane
Tristan Jacob (middle name with a J will give you the TJ nickname)
or my personal favorite name: Wesley (lol just throwing it out there)
Tristan Zachery
Lawrence Tristan ( i like that one as well)
anyway........remeber he will likely be called only the first name, so while its cute Tristan may be pushes aside. Although, I'm a middle name person. None of my friends or teachers ever used my first.

I like the name Tristan, but not Mark, When I think of the name Mark, I think about easy mark, I don't know, but I definately like Tristan

That sounds very cute. I would prefer hearing the child called Tristan over Mark, but thats just me.

Makes me think of Mark Twain for some reason.
I don't like the name Tristian, its weird.
The name Mark is beautiful. Just go with Mark.
