I believe the Monkees sold more. The Monkees had more hits than the Partridge family.

I think the Monkeys might been the winner of that. According to the google fight, the Monkeys are the winners, not sure of thats a web hit more or if that might have been sales. But myself, I think the Moneys cause of the fact they were more fun in song and their show, as well as boy bands have always done better then family groups music and tv shows.
