I went to buy "Annabelle's Wish" on Amazon.com w/ a gc I recieved. The cheapest one was $99.99 !!!!! $100 for an hour long movie about a Christmas cow! Geez! Why is this SOOOOO expensive!?!?

...probably because it is now considered out-of-print, and as such, has been deemed a 'collector's item'; when a film (...or any material item, for instance) reaches this particular state/condition, you can be rest assured that the money-hungry jackels out there, will ask for more than a pretty penny, for such a 'rare' item.....and there WILL be clueless and ignorant suckers out there, who will definitely fork over their hard-earned dollars for this.....that is, until some distributor re-issues the film you are talking about (...and it, for the most part, almost always happens), once again affordably; then the hapless folks, who forked over the big bucks for the out-of-print edition(s), can walk around with 'SUCKER' tatooed on their foreheads...

...please excuse the descriptive rant; your question hit a sore spot, as time and time again, I have been one of those 'suckers'!!!

Supply and demand, the supply is low, yur demand is high.

When the Little mermaid first went out of print on VHS, I saw people flogging copies as high as $300

It's so expensive because it's out of print. They had it for VHS for a great deal cheaper, I noticed.
