I'd stop her from ever leaving the driveway...

I wouldn't have married for a 2nd time- he was an abusive, alcoholic, manis-depressive, control freak and I lost my teenage children over it for 3 years. It was a terrible time and I'll always feel guilty about it. Thank goodness they have forgiven me and we are all very close again. It would have changed a lot of things- and actually, I may not have had my oldest grandson if things had been different, and I would never want to change THAT!

If I could do one thing over, I would go back to the days before my dad passed away. I was 13 years old, and he was dying of cancer. One night we were in the living room, and he put his arm out to hug me. I walked right by. It was the last chance I had to be that close to him.

Here we are, many years later, and I feel just as saddened by it. I know I can't change what happened, but there is nothing I regret more.

I would of gone to college or a school that I would of been certified in a career that interested me when I graduated from high school. If I would of only known how important an education was back in the sixties, I would of definetly done something differently!
