You could always buy a new one, they are like 99 cents around here, unless it had really sentimental value. other than that, I can't help much.. i can't even get makeup out of a tanktop.

place paper over the wax that is on the doily and press a hot iron on the paper until the wax melts. The wax will be picked up by the paper.

I voted for the paper bag and iron, I have some doilies that my mom and grandmother made that are worth more to me than money. So when you use the paper bag/iron remedy check frequently to make sure your doily is OK.

put a brown paper bag over it and iron over top of the paper bag. the wax will melt and absorb into the bag and come out of the doily. it works with crayons in carpet too!

If the brown bag trick doesn't work, sometimes, facial soap (like neutragena) works to remove the oil left behind after the wax comes off.
