I am thinking the ACH will hit my account Friday night, Saturday morning correct? BC I get paid on the 1st which would be the 31st which is Monday...

Jan 1 is a bank holiday in the US. ANY transaction scheduled that day would post as if it happened on Wed, Jan 2. If you employer processes your payroll Monday, Dec 31, the bank would receive the deposit on Mon, Dec 31.
No, it WILL NOT hit your account on Friday OR Saturday.

My employer actually moved the ACH day so there is no question that this is 2008 income. I normally have the money on Sunday night for a Thursday paydate. I won't get paid until the 2nd.

Don't spend it until you know for sure it has been credited to your account!!!
