The reason is because when you view your own blog, under the Manage Blog option, it counts as a view to your blog.
When you view your own profile, it isn't. So obviously, if you're spending time editing your blog, it's going to rack up tons of views because YOU are the one viewing it.

Myspace changed some stuff recently where you can subscribe to your friends. It's on your home page. It shows if you/they have updated profile information, posted new pictures or a new blog or added new music. If your friends have subscribed to you, they will see if you added a new blog from their homepage and can click on a link that will take them directly to your blog. They wouldn't have to view your profile to get to see your blog. (Therefore, it wouldn't come up as a profile view in your counter.)
Also, some of your friends may have subscribed to just your blog and again, they can view your blog without having to click on the link on your profile page.

Your blog is kind of separate. You don't have to see your profile to get to your blog. You can get to your blog through your profile but if you have a blog that you read regularly, you can go directly to the blog and completely bypass the profile.

Myspace probably reset your Profile Views (or maybe you did). It did the same to me. But, now it's okay. The profile views caught up I guess.

Eh. there's no longer plenty you're able to do in the event that they have all their stuff privatized to acquaintances basically. yet whilst they have profiles the place they have been given rid of links to their photos/blogs/acquaintances/etc, you will get in by applying manipulating the URL. something in need of hacking is honest interest i could say. somewhat creepy although.
