I'm tired of the life here so this coming year I want to plan to move to the East coast hopefully through school in NC. I'm a single mom and live in Long Beach, CA now. Any tips on the change for my 8 year old and moving in general?
Thanks!

kids are SO resilient. SHe'll adjust faster than you will! Take her to nice parks, story hours and other kid related activities. She'll make friends and you'll get to know some other moms. Also, take walks around your new neighborhood and you'll meet people who live close to you. Make it a big adventure and she will see it that way, too! NC is beautiful and there are loads of outdoor things to do- move right after school lets out and you'll have all summer to adjust, check things out, do fun summer things and make friends! Good Luck and Have Fun!!!!

I stay on the east coast now and now and back think of approximately shifting west, besides the certainty that it could be very puzzling for me. What you ought to understand till now you progression is that persons on the east coast lead plenty swifter paced lives than people on the west coast, fairly in ny. it extremely is slightly overwhelming for you in the start, yet i'm confident you will get used to it and be taught to like it. wish this facilitates! :)
