Set up an account that my parents can withdraw any amount whenever they needed it.
Pay off my disabled sister's home.
Pay off my disabled brother's home.
Set up an account for my cousins (who just lost their father) to fly here to visit more often.
Buy my Uncle and Aunt a condo so that they always have a place to live.
Buy myself a house
Buy myself a new vehicle.
Make my guyfriend go on at least one trip with me (he is a homebody who was displaced by Katrina; he HATES to travel but his job is here now).
Like a couple of posters above, I don't really need a lot of money to live.

If I won the powerball....
1. pay off all my and my husband's bills
2. buy a house
3. buy my husband a decent car
4. go on a long vacation
5. invest the rest so that we can make more money
6. help pay off my parent's and in-law's houses once some interest has accrued on the invested money
7. live a long and hopefully happy life and hopefully pass on some of the money to our kids and grandkids

Depends on how much money I won. If it's just the state lottery a few million? I spend some wisely. If I really hit it big then I look for all my friends that are struggling or friends who I consider close. My mother, sister's and brother's.

Relocate. New house on a large ranch, pay off bills. Start a rehab for horses. Maybe depending on how much, start a fund for talented kids to get arts educations and start young artists on their way.

I would just invest it and live off the dividend payments. If the prize was large enough, I would not have to work every again. Neither would my kids.
