I think this is the stupidest question I have ever seen. Of course people are Animals. There aren't many things that seperate us from them. We as animals are also the worst kind of animals. No other Animal kills for pleasure. no other animal destroys its home.

Yes, humans are animals but they have the high degree of birth soul. After 8.4 million souls, humans get a chance to be themselves. People say that humans are mammals and they are from the family of apes. So the answer is yes, humans are considered to be animals.

If you define an animal as a complex carbon-based life form, then yes.

When you start to add more complex parts to the definition such as civility, ability to use tools, opposable thumbs then the answer becomes more complex.

I find many animals to be far more civilized than some of the behavior I have observed in some humans, but other humans are sublime in ways few can imagine.

no longer inevitably. Having worked in animal rescue, i think that some animals are much greater precious than specific human beings available. i've got considered firsthand what morally bankrupt human beings can do to animals, and it rather is appalling. As human beings, we've distinctive thought strategies than different animals, yet no count if or no longer that makes us "greater perfect" could be a factor of dialogue. we are in a place to truly maim and kill those creatures; what separates us from them, i think, is the occasional summoning of ethics that it may take to refrain from doing so. i'm Roman Catholic. As for the bonus question, the final action picture I watched grow to be the secret technological know-how Theater 3000 version of "childrens From Outer area".

Yes, I consider all mammals, animals. We are animals, just with an ability to use language and empathize. Some humans are not even able to do this: see feral children.

We absolutely are animals and we are very much guided by the same forces that all animals are guided by. Chemistry (hormones) you don't think all that bumpin bellies is going on JUST because it feels good do ya? Besides the instinct to procreate, nature also provides us with fight or flight responses, among others.

It is sad to see people that think that Mankind should somehow be above or immune to the instinctual responses implanted by our creator.

No. Humans are not animals since we have attributes that prove we are made in the image of our Creator Jehovah God.
We have love, justice, wisdom and power that no animal any where possess and are prevalent as in human beings. Humans are truly and uniquely the only fleshly souls on this earth that possess such qualities. We neither inherited nor evolved them from any other creature.
The first humans were created by God directly from the elements of this earth. Genesis 2:7

Yes. And we are the most dangerous of all animals, and the human animal is basiclly stupid. Think about it, you don't have to think hard to see why.

Yes. Because we are. Dog = animal, cat = animal, human = animal, etc...

Do you believe you are a vegetable or mineral?

Yes. We try so hard to cover that fact up. We often cover up our gut instincts as it were. There are subconscious signals that we ignore. In prison we are taught to use the instincts. I thought about things later and was able to list things that caused me to feel uncomfortable. At the time I had no idea what it was, but I listned to my gut and avoided a dangerous situation.
