I have been on yaz for almost a year. I have not had a menstral cycle in 2 months. However I have used condoms since my last period.

For the most part I'm pretty good at taking my pills. I have missed a few days the month before last but I was not sexually active when I did.

I'm parnoid that I might be pregnant because I have missed 2 periods. I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative but I dont know whats going on.

Could the test I took not be accurate and I am really pregant?

I have not been on Yaz but I've been on numerous types of birth control. Recently I came off of the depo shot and started the pill and I didn't have a period for 6 months (I just started my period several days ago). I went to visit a doctor and had blood drawn and all that stuff. They said it is nothing to worry about or concern myself with until I had not had my period for 8-10 months. They said when birth control is taken it messes up a woman cycle, plus there are thousands of things I've found that could mean missing a period other than pregnancy.

Thyroid levels, stress, hormone levels, eating habbits, and just birth control alone can effect whether somebody gets their period. Anyhow, I would buy a pregnancy test every month you don't get your period just to be safe, but other than that if you are really worried get a full blood screening (for thyroid and hormone levels) and talk with your doctor.
