As such, India is in the driver's seat. But, it is too early to predict whether they will win this Test. They have to bat like they batted against Pakistan and pile up a huge score i.e around 650-750 runs. They have to bowl as they bowled today and pick the 10 Aussie wickets as quickly as possible. Otherwise, the Aussies will try to pull off a draw.

When last time we played against Australia at MCG 4 years ago, we scored 330 runs on day 1.
Our one batsman alone scored 190 in 2 & half session ( Sehwag)
& even then we lost the match.
So, India can fight back

While history is in favour of Australia as they have won the last consecutive test matches played at MCG, the outcome of this match will depend upon the performance of Indian batting linje up.
