She's very pretty, but is even talkative with the ulgy men. She has done the deed with a girlfriend's man, without the girlfriend knowing. I am friends witht this girl, but I wouldn't want to date her, my question is, why do SOME woman act like this??????????

This isn't a true represntation, is it. "She's very talkative around guys" even with "ugly men"? Yeah, I can see why you wouldn't want to date her.

I think there are quite a few women out there like this. I believe it can all be summed up into one phrase "Daddy Issues". Now some girls grow up fine without a father around, however I feel the lack of fathers playing an influential role in their children's lives has resulted in many issues for these people (both male and female), often these issues are most easily detected through relationships. I think any time someone has a difficult time forming relationships with their own sex or the opposite sex it should throw a red flag.

She may be looking to replace the father figure with all of the attention she gets from the men. Women can be difficult :-) Men tend to be much easier to get along with and work with. She may not want the competition from the other women.

As The Mrs. pointed out, she has "daddy issues" and will retain them her entire life, always looking for a father in every man. She is looking for acceptance and approval from men and will do anything to get it, even if the goal lasts only short time.

This is just one of the many problems of the current socially approved idea that fathers having no importance in the family. The results are catastrophic; unrecognized at its outset and denied by millions even when it solidifies.

She will, in all probability, raise a new generation of fatherless children who will perpetuate the same actions or worse.

Odd that I received thumbs down when my reply is similar to The Mrs. and she received none. Hmmmm.
Sexism, anyone?

You make it sound like such a bad thing - why the hell shouldn't she talk to whoever she wants to. I think that some young men (and older ones who never grow up) believe that any attention from a woman means that she is flirting. Now I know it is hard for you to grasp - but we are NOT all just a bunch of mindless *hores! Some of us are REAL people! Radical I know.

I would probably not like this girl, but I would certainly not think of her badly for preferring to hang out with boys.
And the fatherless thing is just a load of bollocks.

Hey, I'm one of those women who has more male friends than female friends.
1. Don't need a father figure, thank-you.
2. Not in competition with the other females.
3. Have female friends also.
4. Have more in common with the guys because of my hobbies.Record collecting, classic car restoration, excetera.
5. Look at people as people, not as genders.

She sounds happy and confident. She has friends and socializes. She has the strength of character to CHOOSE her friends and companions. She does not follow the herd or gaggle of little girls. She's talkative and social and comfortable around the opposite sex on her own rather than hiding behind a bunch of girlfriends. She's sexually mature and enjoyed the company of an unmarried man within her social group, which in no way suggests a neediness to sleep around for "father" figure attention. She engages with and respects men for more than merely superficial looks, which suggests emotional balance and empathy. And, if I were YOU, I'd date the girl before someone else more on the ball comes along and realizes how special and real and classy she is and keeps her all for himself. Never pass up on the opportunity to at least get to know a little better those rare people who come along who have something, ANYTHING, more going for them than ho-hum sheep herd cookie-cutter conformity and mentality.

You tell me why some men prefer talking to women and I'll tell you why some women act like that. Deal?

In all seriousness, I do not know. I know that I was attracted to someone else's man at one point in my life and I'm thanking God every day that he's not in my life anymore. I couldn't even hug him without having feelings for him! But it didn't go beyond that...I promise you. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if it had.

Because they cant seem to get along with others girls. They need the attention, have to have it from as many men as possible.

i think it is the lack of father figure in her life and perhaps she lacks self confidence and her talking to all these guys and getting along so well must build up her self esteem. She sounds like one of those people that needs to be reassured all the time.
