As time goes by and more I look at him I start to believe more and more that it was the prior organizations he was in that made him how he was. Now I am like most people who thought that he was a jerk, but he has given New England zero problems and until I see him act out I can't come down on the guy. I mean... everyone knows that Minnesota was a bad organization when he was in it with Mike Tice and then the whole boating incident. Of course the Raiders... they just don't know how to run things. You have to imagine... that probably really frustrated Moss which lead to him acting out. In his earlier years with Minnesota it was him being like an immature kid do childish things. Then in Oakland... he just got plain frustrated and really didn't say much and just stopped playing and nobody heard anything from him. Now in New England... he's better then when he started and he's a model citizen. There was something going on in those back offices in Minnesota and Oakland no one knows about.

Yes, I believe it's because he became frustrated with the organizations of his former team, that is why he is acting pissed-off. He knew he can be better, but all around him he could see nobody wants to excel or even try to be better.

I personally think that it wasn't a good thing that he purposely didn't try in Oakland, but I guess it does prove that he wasn't washed up at all. Imagine what Moss' numbers would be like if he played with a QB like Brady or Manning from his rookie season. With all due respect, Randall Cunningham and Daunte Culpepper are nothing when you think that Jerry Rice had Steve Young and Joe Montana.

We all knew his history, and lots of Patriots fans were skeptical, but he has been great and very poised, not just on the field but in press conferences after the games. Did you see one of his TD catches last Sunday, he just handed the ball to the umpire in the end zone. No celebration, no dance, just totally professional. What a validation for him this season has been. Everyone in New England (except for Bill Belichick who claims not to care) is pulling for the most TD catch records for both Moss and Brady and the most points record for the team.

I blame the Vikings for his actions, because the then owner let him do ANYTHING he wanted. It is like Vick in Atlanta. If you let the guy get away with anything the guy will misbehave. I don't blame the Raiders for Moss's actions though. Actually you didn't hear as much about him with the Raiders because they wouldn't let him act up. They kept him off camera for the most part. In that case I blame the media for seeking him out.

In other words, your saying it's the organization's fault for Moss's behaviors and actions? Then his no different then TO, or any other players who misbehave in the league. They can simply say, it's the organization around them that caused them to act out.

There is a lot of truth to your statement. I have never seen Moss be the team player he is with the Patriots. Notice how he started to celebrate with the younger Pat players after a TD. When Gaffney scored the game winner, who was one of the first to swarm him, Moss. The guy actually cares again.
I'm not giving him a complete pass because it sets a bad example for kids but I can understand what caused him to act out like he did.

Well he was an exceptionally gifted athlete, and with that comes power. With power and still being young and immature you make mistakes. Hell I made many bad decisions at his age with no money. He's still a gifted athlete and he has matured making him a better person all around. He's doing well and I hope he continues on the right path.

I agree. He is no TO, because as TO has shown even at Dallas, he is a pric. But Moss has been only because the teams and organizations he has been with have done nothing to help him.

I think that Moss has matured over the years, raiders could cause any man to break, he came to the Pats where , if you give your all, they give you their all in return

He is a great player and sometime he does something that is bad but he is responsible for his actions and he knows what he is doing but I do beleive his prior teams have put a negative effect on him but there are worse players in the league..... T.O.!!!!!!!!
