I don't know what you mean by photographic memory and I don't know how much you understand about recognizing emotions. It appears that emotions are discriminated among people universally. The brain determines what emotions are being expressed by key features in facial expression. It is possible to coverup certain parts of the face and the emotion is still determined. Thus, emotions are not detected or selected by "photographic" or eidetic memory. Having a photographic or eidetic memory is actually somewhat rare and occurs with about the same frequency or less as left-handedness, I believe and if I recall. Detecting emotions appears to be somewhat genetic and has not changed over the years, although it would appear social ineptness has grown. Maybe people are losing interest in caring how others feel.

i've got confidence that we are the two born with the aptitude of a photographic reminiscence or that we are no longer. i do no longer think of that's something that we are in a position to get carry of in existence. some people could have greater advantageous thoughts that others, yet to have a photographic reminiscence, you should be born with the aptitude.
