How can i make my blanket winkle free?

i tried washing it. but its making it worse, is there any other way instead of buying products

I've never really paid attention to wrinkles in my blankets, except to pull them straight when making the bed. But I have noticed that sometimes heating them in the dryer then laying them flat on the bed works well.

Fabric softener and take it out of the dryer damp and lie it flat.
