Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam, West Samoa, Iwo Jima, U.S. Virgin Islands, Midway Island, and other U.S. territories and foreign military bases are not, I repeat, not options!

All you would have need to say was the lower 48 and we would understand. I have been to all 50 and all the Territories. I like to live in Ohio, Fish in Montana, Ski in Colorado, Hunt for opals in Nevada , swim in Virginia, Eat Mexican Food in Texas, and Chinese in China town California.

I would advice that Vermont is NOT an option either....

Trust me, if you are not from here is is AWFUL trying to meet people, there are no jobs unless you have a professional degree, housing is high- there are few options-and mostly shoddy unless you build your own.

People are NOT kind in business.

Besides, the weather is awful, like in NH, and you have to drive 20 miles any any direction to get gas, food, or to see a doctor.

cost of living here is so HIGH, you even have to pay to get your mail.

There are no cell phone towers in 3/4 of the state, no access to cable tv, and I just barely was offered DSL as opposed to dial-up by Verizon who wants to leave the state as they are loosing money here.

Do not come here unless you need insurance w/o a job, are retiring, getting married, renewing your vows, coming to see the leaves turn, or going to UVM for school!

Living in Vermont is for the aging, and people who have a weekend home away from CT and NY. TAXES are high

I really love NY but it is so incredibly expensive to live there. I also enjoyed Washington State. I enjoy the mountains and the oceans, I like the snow but now prefer to watch it on TV. I live in Florida now and this is home!
