really disappointed this year. Ive been so excited, spent so much time on preparation and money on gifts etc and it turned out to be miserable. all my family went to my sisters for dinner and i stayed home. had argument with the hubby so he was gone for a few hours. the only good part was watching my 3 kids (aged2,3 and 9) open their presents this morning but apart from that, it was sadly just another day. i am really gutted as i imagined it to be a great day but it wasn't. i really dont know where I'm going wrong. so I'm going to go to bed now and probably cry! I'm just hoping my kids enjoyed themselves. merry Christmas to you. i hope your day was better than mine! xx xx

i thought it would be the worst, but it turned out pretty well.

i sprained my foot 15 minutes before 12 midnight =( from jumping down the patio steps...i spent christmas day in bed, it was great because i got a chance to rest, instead of driving around dropping off gifts ( ive been driving around the past week anyway, for my family, friends, etc. ) =P

ehh...it was alright. I talked to my best friend from high school on the phone-today is also her birthday. Went to my grandparent's house today-as always, fighting ensued--lol. Nothing out of the ordinary. I did get some fun gifts though! :)

I'm actually looking more forward to the post Christmas festivities with my friends!!

definate nightmare...my room mate showed up with 5 of his relatives and thay all crashed here, all over the place, not enough room here and they were uninvited and unexpected...it was supposed to be 1 person....And they all seem to think i'm their private servant and went way overboard on making themselves to home. I left and went and ate with the homeless people for Christmas dinner. And you think one of them would bring a box of chocolates or a bottle of wine for the host....lol...not a chance. Nice huh?

It was fine. Interesting to see how people have grown, depressing to see how little has changed for some of us in the last year -- mercilessly plodding along... work, eat, sleep, work, eat, sleep... It was an opportunity to realize how unimportant the tasks we focus on really are.

The food was great.
